The original was created while Rachel was in college in Jackson, Mississippi and is a portrait of a woman who survived several floods of the Mississippi River in the South. The portrait is created with pieces of leather, twine and burlap as well as cotton and wood. This was the first original work of art that Rachel sold as a college student.
