This small painting packs a bold color palette, with cadmium reds and oranges contrasting with pastel blues and lavender, offset by a dark foreground with a silhouetted surfer figure in the bottom left corner. Themes of reflection and isolation often are signatures of my landscape paintings, and this piece is a good sample of my body of landscape work in this regard.
